Our friend Mopshell is a pillar of the Pootie Peeps, author of some of the most wonderful community diaries about animal companions. A true artist with Photoshop, she has brought many, many smiles to petlovers across this site.

BFSkinner was one of the first recipients of a community quilt...number 6, actually, in 2009. The reason was lupus, a disease that was, distressingly, affecting the cognition of this very brilliant and successful psychologist.
Ann and I made a flying visit to Charleston, SC this past week. A lot of things did not go to plan — but we did get to see Gordon20024 (Archie) and The Marti for a little while on Friday.

As readers of the Monday Night Cancer Club diaries will know, our friend, outragedinsf, has prostate cancer. It is not an uncommon cancer among men and, fortunately, the prognosis is better than with a lot of cancers.
If you are like me, you have thoroughly enjoyed reading Murfster35’s diaries about politics. The man is funny and very, very sharp! But what you may not know is that Murfster35 is medically retired. There is something wrong that has curbed what he can do — and the doctors don’t know for sure what it is.

On this quilt, there are 200 messages of love and support for the congregation of Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC, the church where, in June of 2015 there was a horrific, racially motivated massacre.
